When you receive a surprise Tom Ford lipstick which you've coveted for longer than you'd care to admit, you know he's a keeper. My boyfriend lives in a land far, far away (a.k.a. The South) and had secretly arranged for this beaut to be delivered when I got home from work the other Friday. I'd had my eye on this divine shade for an age but could never justify splurging so much for a single bullet of lipstick (albeit a stupendously beautiful one).
The colour itself leans more peach than pink on my lips, which are naturally quite dark but I find this to be very refreshing, as I don't currently have a nude/peach colour in my collection. I found the formula to be cream, long-lasting and heavily pigmented on my lips. In short it is dreeeeeeammm-y!
Although this lipstick looks stunning worn on it's own, I particularly enjoy pairing it with Tanya Burr's Lipgloss in 'Chic,' which is a perfect match for the TF shade and imparts a glossy, high-shine finish which plumps up my lips, creating a more glamorous, polished look.
Let's not forget how utterly luxurious the packaging is... My oh my! My mum and sister ridiculed me for days after I first received the lipstick about the fact that I didn't want to use it and disturb the magical 'TF' imprint. I of course relented (after five days...!!)
